The Forum calls upon all those Members States which have not yet done so to consider without delay ratifying the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination and International Labour Organization Convention No. 169

Responses

The Government of Mexico states the following in its report to the fifth session (E/C.19/2006/4/Add.3):

Mexico ratified the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination on 20 February 1975 and International Labour Organization Convention No. 169 concerning Indigenous and Tribal Peoples in Independent Countries on 5 September 1989

The Government of Switzerland states the following in its report to the fifth session (E/C.19/2006/4/Add.1):

Switzerland has ratified ICERD but no yet ILO Convention No. 169.
