The Permanent Forum recommends that the General Assembly rename the Decade “Second International Decade of the World’s Indigenous Peoples”.

Responses

This recommendation was brought to the attention of delegations at GA; no action taken as there was not resolution on it at the GA in 2009; possibility for GA 2010.
